Flight City is the first simulation centre to provide 2 state of the art simulators available for use by all the West Australian aviation community. The B-777 Simulator and in conjunction with SSA the 58-B flight simulator with a full 6 degrees of freedom motion platform. The newest in the fleet by SSA*.
Featuring the B-777 fixed base flight simulator with its state of the art avionics program, 225 degree fully immersive high definition visuals and full instructor’s station never before has this type or level of flight simulator been available in W.A. Now open to the public and pilots for both ‘experience flights’ and full training it has brought Perth into the 21st century with these first class facilities never before scene at Jandakot.
The 58-B simulator now has the option of a full digital glass cockpit featuring the Garmin 1000 suite or analogue instruments to suit. Also featured is the latest digital imaging systems allowing full circuit flying by either visual means, VFR, night VFR or by full IFR capabilities, the 58-B has set a new standard for enhanced performance training options. The 58-B can be configured for example as a Piper Seminole, the classic Baron 58b, a King Air, a Pilatus PC-12 or even a Citation Bravo, there a many options that we can do so please feel free to contact reception with your specific requirements.
Flight City and SSA together are making their simulator facilities available to flight school and other training organizations in the hope of facilitating a new era in aviation training never before seen in Perth. Our centre is open to all on an equal basis so that all of the flying community can enjoy the high quality of flight simulator training now available.
